RedDot Collection

“RedDot” collection analyzes a topic of a “point” or “dot” whose perfect round form makes it the best catalyst for attention. In my work, I try to use it to focus the viewer's attention on various problems plaguing the contemporary world. Each of the subjects is accentuated by a redpoint, which in each case stands for something different. Sometimes it is a fish's eye, in other cases bindi - a dot on a Hindu woman's forehead, a setting sun or a matryoshka blush stuck to Vladimir Putin's face. It is a symbol of pausing to reflect. It closes a topic with a conclusion. It is a seal and a "dot on the i” in every situation I analyze. And at the same time, leading me from one point to another, it is like a kid's drawing made by connecting numbered dots, which in effect creates a picture of the world around us, seen from my perspective. Will you take my point of view?
